New Year Potential!

I love the new year! Everything feels fresh and new, an opportunity to start over. It’s a time to let go of the past and focus on abundant potential, new possibilities and the opportunity for reinvention.

If you have goals or resolutions this year, take time to map them out and visualize what they look like in your future. See yourself with your goals achieved, feeling successful, and fully being where you want to be. When you know what this looks like and what it feels like, you’ll begin to notice evidence of what’s possible all around you.

When you allow your imagination to step into what you would like to achieve, what once felt impossible can suddenly feel possible. And as you stay focused, know that it’s okay if things don’t turn out exactly the way you planned, there may be something even better in store for you.

I love this feeling of beginning fresh and I look forward to creating more growth and stepping more fully into my purpose over the next 365 days. What are you looking forward to?

Wishing you a New Year that feels fabulous, nurturing, and magical!
Nicole

Practice at Home:

I’ve just started a breathwork program that a colleague, Bel, just published. It’s 5 minutes a day and so far I’m loving it! On the first day I learned a really cool trick:

To clear your nostrils in preparation for breathwork, ball your hands up into a fist, cross your arms and hold your fists in your armpits for 2 minutes. It really clears up your nose! Weird and amazing!

Here’s her program and YouTube Channel:

And once you are breathing clearly, if you would like to practice a simple breathwork exercise, try Coherent Breathing. Coherent breathing helps us to slow our breath down and get us out of fight or fight mode. This breath exercise has you breathing in for a count of five and out for a count of five. If that’s too much for you, start with three and three or four and four. This practice relaxes your body and slows your heart rate, bringing your breathing in coherence with your heartbeat.

If you would like to follow along, here’s a short video I made: Coherent Breathing
